Synthetic aroma chemicals such as aldehydes are used in making perfumes and fragrances. They are added to household products like candles and cleaning detergents. They are also used in lotions, lipstick and cologne to give them a scent or to mask the odor of other ingredients.
Essential Oils
Essential oils are used in aromatherapy as a form of alternative medicine to support health and well-being. Although essential oils are compounds extracted from plants, many essential oils are also obtained through chemical processes utilising aroma chemicals.
Nutrition
In order to enhance the flavors of food and beverages, our aroma chemicals have been used for the formulation of flavors used in baked goods, drinks, candy and alcohol. In this way, both the taste and smell of food and beverages are greatly improved.
Sweeteners
Our artificial sweeteners are much sweeter than natural sugar and are readily soluble in water. They have a sweet taste without the bitter chemical or metallic aftertaste which makes them a good ingredient to use as a sugar replacement in many food recipes.
